I hate the rain but I try to make the best of it,im a little bummed we didn't go ridding last night but im thinking Wensday while its pouring down rain I'm going to ride from lake down market then to uptown via cypress.anyone intrested?
Anyways Just bundle up,Bring an extra set of clothes in your bag when you go out ridding.
why sit inside and let a little rain keep you from having fun?
When it rains I dont have the choice to hop in my car,Because im car free.I enjoy it but god how I hate the rain without a fender.my ass gets soaked and gives me this gnarly rash but fuck it.

Fenders are amazing. I actually really love riding in the rain, so long as your brakes still work in the wet. I live a ways outside town but I really miss group rides (used to be part of many bike posses in philadelphia), is the sunday ride a regular event? As in, if I randomly show up people will be there?

Might be fun to organize bike polo sometime? I just watched the video, I'm more of a commuter biker, but I like to hang out with kids that like bikes as much as I do. And I really would like to make more friends in Redding.

I kind of can't ride a fixie cause I have a blown out knee. I'll probably put together a shitty little dirt bike with a front brake handle on the left side and be good to go. I've never actually played, just watched really macho violent games between philadelphia bike messengers. No way was I going to attempt to jump in that game. But it looks really fun if played slightly less aggressively.
This is my bike. It's a surly cross check with an 8 speed internal hub. I built it for philadelphia but it gets me around in the mountains really well. I built it as a single speed and put the shimano hub on the back pretty recently but I really like it.

Wow, driving into redding today there was the kind of rain that SUCKS to bike in. Like, where you can't even breathe because you're so fucking wet. Don't miss being forced to ride in it (and late for work usually too)!
